Services

Cedar ward has 28 beds on the main ward and 2 side rooms. The ward caters predominantly for orthopaedic trauma patients and we also care for patients from the medical directorate.

What do I need for my stay in hospital?

Toiletries, nightwear, slippers and daywear are important for your hospital stay. A small amount of money would be helpful for newspapers and confectionery. Please do not bring valuables and large amounts of money into hospital with you as the trust cannot accept responsibility if these personal items get lost or damaged.

Is there anything I shouldn't bring with me?

Flowers are not permitted on the ward.

What should I do once I get to the ward?

If you have any questions or concerns please speak with the Nurse in Charge of your relative or the Ward Co-ordinator.

We have an “It’s okay to ask about your cares and concerns” policy.
