Ambitious about Autism
We stand with autistic children and young people, champion their rights and create opportunities. We run specialist education services, an award-winning employment programme and children and young people are at the heart of our charity's decision-making, policy work and campaigning. Cerebra
A factsheet for parents, carers and professionals - This factsheet looks at challenging behaviour in children with brain conditions: what it is, why it happens, how we understand it and what we can do about it. Some behaviours are a challenge to professionals and teachers as well as parents and carers. Intervention is needed when the behaviour of the child or young person causes harm to themselves or others or if it prevents them living life to their full potential.
