Archive Team

The Archive Volunteers
Sue Longworth, Fred O’Dell and Julia Corps are all retired health care professionals. They have a wide knowledge of the collection contents, and specific expertise in their own previous working specialities.

Archive Curator

Professor Andrew Williams is the archive curator at Northampton General Hospital. He supervises undergraduate history projects (Universities of Birmingham and Northampton) using material from the Archive. He welcomes the opportunity to discuss potential projects involving the archive, with anyone who has a serious interest in these matters.

He is also happy to give wide ranging talks on different aspects of the history of medicine, in particular on 18th century hospital child health care within Northampton General Infirmary.
