Pathology reception is located on Hospital Street in Area G on the hospital map. The nearest parking areas are Car Parks 4 and 5 (or 2 after 3.00pm). Limited disabled parking is available.

The pathology department provides patient-care diagnostic and testing facilities for Northampton General Hospital and the local community general practitioners.

Mortuary
The department is also responsible for providing the public mortuary service for South Northamptonshire and autopsy facilities for HM Coroner.
