The team
The team of 160 staff is made up of pharmacists, medicine management technicians, pharmacy technicians, dispensers, assistant technical officers (ATOs), administrative and clerical staff.
Facilities
- Modern, centrally located, department with a licensed manufacturing unit and wholesale dealer's licence.
- Office facilities in adjacent location [Billing House]
- Automated dispensing system
- Ward pharmacy staff have individual notebooks/laptops
- Electronic discharge, electronic prescribing of chemotherapy
- Aseptic Unit (a sterile environment used for making up chemotherapy and other medicines)
- Quality Assurance department
