Audiology, Adult Service

Information:

We are now an appointment only service, walk in repairs is closed.

9:30am to 12:30pm - 1:30pm to 3:30pm

Please note our phone lines are very busy so please be patient and text instead if possible.

Batteries

Batteries should last approximately 5-7 days.

Batteries can be collected from the Audiology department at Northampton General Hospital, Area K, these on located on a table.

You can collect:

Monday to Thursday between 8.30am and 5pm (closed for lunch between 12.30pm and 1.30pm)

Fridays between 8.00am and 4pm (closed for lunch between 12.30pm and 1pm)

We ask that you take no more than two packs per hearing aid. Please bring an old packet of batteries to ensure you get the correct ones.

You can ask or friend or relative to collect for you if you can’t get in yourself. You can also collect green cleaning wires from reception.

Remember you can always post your brown book/card to us for batteries.

If you are posting in for batteries please provide return postage of 1 large stamp or 2 normal stamps and a self addressed envelope.

How to find us

Audiology Reception is situated on the ground level of Area K next to Medical Outpatients. If you enter the building via K1 and turn left audiology is just down the corridor on the right.

The closest car parks are Car parks 3 and 4.
