The nearest car park is car park 1. The lay-by at the South Entrance can be used to drop off and collect patients. Spaces are also available in this area for disabled parking.
From car park 1 enter the Hospital at the South Entrance, walk to Hospital Street, turn right and Manfield Day Surgery Unit is first door on the left.

Visiting times
Manfield Day Surgery Unit does not provide visiting times for day case patients.
Services
Manfield Day Surgery Unit has 12 beds as well as an area for Ambulatory patients (e.g. walk in walk out local anaesthetic procedures). The Ward provides care for orthopaedic day case and short stay patients, although sometimes it is used an escalation area (meaning it may be kept open overnight).
What should I bring with me?
Please bring any medication you are currently taking. Wear cotton underpants and bring a dressing gown with you.
How much time should I allow before my admission?
Patients should arrive on time for their admission. Please note the unit does not open until 7.30am. Please allow between 2 and 12 hours for your admission depending on your procedure, anaesthetic and recovery time. More information will be given on admission.
How do I get to the department?
The department is located on Hospital Street in Area A next door to Manfield Theatre Suite.
Is there anything I shouldn't bring with me?
Please do not bring valuables or money with you. No flowers or pot plants are allowed in the Unit.
What should I do once I get to the ward?
Report to the Reception desk which is directly in front of you when you enter the Unit
