Non-executive appointment at NGH

The NHS Trust Development Authority (NHS TDA) has confirmed the appointment of Olivia Clymer as Non-Executive Director of Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust.

Olivia Clymer is currently an Associate NED of Dudley and Walsall Mental Health NHS Trust where she is a member of the mental health scrutiny committee. Between 2013 and 2015 she was chief executive of the Independent Advocacy where she was responsible for strategy and operational delivery for the charity reporting to the Board of Trustees.

Prior to this she was programme manager for business transformation in social care at Walsall Council (2010-13) delivering systems change projects across the council and national policy drivers and she was corporate manager of regeneration and strategy at Milton Keynes Council (2008-10). She recently ended 10 years’ service as a family and housing association board member in Birmingham.

Non-executive appointments to NHS Trusts made by the NHS TDA are subject to the Code of Practice of the Commissioner for Public Appointments. Olivia been appointed until 1 November 2017 and is entitled to receive a remuneration of £6,157 per annum. She has declared no political activity in the last five years.
