The society have supported the Oncology department and it's patients at NGH since the passing of one of their members, Mr Terry Chapman. Terry was treated at NGH however sadly passed away around 15 years ago. Since then, the society have ran regular photography competitions to fundraise for the department.
This year, the competition, organised by Brenda Marshall, saw 9 different clubs come together to compete. The winning print titled "The old lifting Bridge" taken by Paul Wallis was also presented during the cheque presentation. Northamptonshire Health Charitable Fund were present at the cheque presentation along with Oncology staff and members from the Rushden and District Photographic Society: Michael and Mary Hadley, Brenda Marshall and Carole Harvey.
We would like to thank Rushden and District Photographic Society for their generous donation and the continuing support they provide.
