A new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) is planned to be located adjacent to the Kings Heath General Practice, in Northampton. The proposed facility will benefit thousands of local people needing diagnostics tests for MRI and CT from 2024.
We really want to hear your views at either our face-to-face or virtual information sessions.
The CDC will aim to:
- Improve population health outcomes by earlier diagnoses of significant health conditions
- Increase diagnostic capacity in terms of workforce, facilities and equipment
- Improve productivity and efficiency of diagnostic activity
- Provide additional appointments for patients
- Provide locations for diagnostic tests including CT, MRI, ultrasound and echocardigram
- Support patients with accessible services closer to home
