How to find us
The nearest car park is car park 1. The lay-by at the South Entrance can be used to drop off and collect patients. Spaces are also available in this area for disabled parking.
From car park 1 enter the hospital at the south entrance, and Abington ward is on the right. Abington ward is located in area A.

Visiting
Visiting times on the ward are: 11:00-20:00
For more information on visiting please visit the visitors page. Visiting outside of the standard hours must be agreed with the nurse in charge.
If you would like to be actively involved in mealtimes with your relative please speak with the ward coordinator. Please speak to the nurse in charge before bringing very young children into the ward.
Only two visitors are allowed per bed.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Toiletries, nightwear, slippers and daywear are important for your hospital stay. A small amount of money would be helpful for newspapers and confectionery. Please do not bring valuables and large amounts of money into hospital with you as the trust cannot accept responsibility if these personal items get lost or damaged.
Is there anything I shouldn't bring with me?
Flowers are not permitted on the ward.
What should I do once I get to the ward?
If you have any questions or concerns please speak with the Nurse in Charge of your relative or the Ward Co-ordinator.
