Charity creates thankufest, the first ever events programme designed to honour our health & social care heroes
Northamptonshire Health Charity News
Helping create meaningful memories for Northamptonshire NHS & health and social care staff and their families.
Brands, businesses & individuals are being given an incredible opportunity to recognise and thank Northamptonshire NHS and health & social care staff by supporting thankufest a programme of 15 festivities taking place over the next 15 months, starting on 17 June 2022.
The events, which are being driven by local NHS charity Northamptonshire Health Charity Fund (NHCF) and delivered in partnership with experiential agency Hyphen, are a fantastic way to commemorate the hard work Northamptonshire NHS and heath care staff have done as frontline workers during the pandemic.
Hosted across a number of fantastic venues across the county from: charitable trust Wicksteed Park, to Franklin’s Gardens, home to Northampton Saints. Thankufest is a series of 15 events from intimate live music gigs through to historic home visits and food festivals - offering something for all ages and interests.
The invite-only free events will be a fun, rewarding and memorable day/evening, to thank up to 40,000 Northamptonshire health care staff and their families for their incredible hard work, commitment, sacrifices and general resilience over these past couple of years.
It will be a chance to experience new things, relax, laugh, sing, dance and be merry. NHS and health care staff based in the Northamptonshire region are invited to visit the website www.thankufest.com to find out more and in the very near future, book their tickets for these truly unique events.
There are plenty of opportunities for businesses to get involved to provide much needed financial support. There is also the opportunity for individuals to support by donating via the event’s just giving page.
Laura Pugh, Northamptonshire Health Charity Fundraising and Sponsorship Manager said: “thankufest provides a unique opportunity to align your brand with a meaningful events programme and show your company’s support and thanks to the health care staff who live and work in Northamptonshire”.
NHCF’s trustee Phil Zeidler said: “Please help us to create meaningful, genuine memories, a thank you that will remain in the hearts and minds of these real-life heroes forever, while building awareness of your business to an audience of around 40,000 local health and social care professionals and their families. This can only happen with your help and support. It’s our turn to show we truly care.”
The event will kick off with an intimate gig featuring Jo Whiley on Friday 17 June hosted at Wicksteed Park, followed closely by up to 2,000 tickets for the fantastic Pete Tong & the Heritage Orchestra on Friday 24 June at Franklin’s Gardens. There are a range of fundraising packages available, or you can work with us the create the perfect bespoke experience for our healthcare heroes.
