South Entrance closure for pedestrians- From Tuesday 12th January

South entrance closure for pedestrians: The Hospital South Entrance is to close on Tuesday 12th January 2021 (PM).

This is to facilitate the demolition of the existing Southern access doors and canopy in order to provide a space for the construction of the new ITU and retail buildings due to open in Summer 2021.

In order to facilitate the above a new pedestrian entrance is being constructed around the rear of Abington Ward and the Breast Screening building.

The new pedestrian entrance is sign posted from the main footpath and along its length, it will have the same access features as the existing doors.
